Sanaz Haghgoo was born in July 1982 and earned her PhD in Nanomaterials from Sorbonne University in Paris in 2012. While her academic path was rooted in science, her passion for art was always present. In 2010, she took her first steps toward painting by enrolling in a class at the Institute C3B in Paris. Eight years later, she returned to her hometown, where, with the encouragement of her painting instructor, she made the decision to fully dedicate herself to art. Sanaz pursued various painting and art classes in Iran, and her dedication quickly paid off. One of her works from the Plant Collection was accepted into the London Biennial Exhibition, affirming her commitment to this new artistic direction. In 2022, she returned to Paris to deepen her artistic practice. For the past three years, she has studied at the Atelier Beaux-Arts de Paris, where she continues to refine her skills in oil painting, watercolor, and handprint techniques. Sanaz’s artistic journey is marked by a constant drive for creativity and growth.
